About Victoria Han
Victoria Lahee Han was born in New York in September 2010 and began her piano journey at age four, taking lessons through her church in Hawaii. By age seven, she made her competitive debut under the tutelage of Dr. Thomas Yee. Recognizing her natural gift, Victoria's parents moved to Texas to broaden her musical horizons. Victoria has been mentored by Dr. Yee, Mr. Konstatin Travinsky, and currently Dzmitry Ulasuik, and has also attended master classes led by renowned pianists, such as Maestro Vladmir Vardo, Sean Kennard, and Ning An.
Victoria is passionate about bringing art to life through her piano performances and feels a deep connection with the original composers of the music, which is clearly displayed in her passionate performances that exceed her youthful age. This past year has been a momentous period for Victoria, as she performed the complete composition of Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor with the Lewisville Lake Symphony Orchestra in February 2022, and then again in June with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at Meyerson Hall Symphony Center. After her performance, Maestro Jun Märkl, a world-famous conductor, praised her and said, "She is phenomenal, and I would like to take her anywhere."
Aside from her passion for playing the piano, Victoria enjoys being a normal sixth-grader at Pioneer Heritage Middle School in Frisco, Texas, where she participates in the school choir, track, and ballet. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, pets, and reading through her collection of books. Although she spends most of her time playing the piano, Victoria dreams of visiting the sun-kissed beaches and warm Aloha spirit of her hometown in Hawaii.
